Swanson Reed Contemporary is pleased to showcase the work of a variety of regional and national artists during the run of Glengarry Glenn Ross. Participating artists include respected local favorites Rodney Hatfield, Bob Lockhart, Melissa Wilson, sculptor Brad White and painter Shayne Hull, as well as Marco Logsdon (Chicago), Francis X. Pavy (New Orleans) and Megan Lightell (Nashville).
Also on hand will be works by multi-media artist Cynthia Norton and conceptual artists Thaniel Ion Lee and Thomas deLisle.

Aqueous USA 2008 is consistently ranked as one of the top national watercolor exhibitions and will feature many prominent artists from across the country, exhibiting 70 paintings and offer over $15,000 in awards.
The Aqueous USA 2008 juror is award-winning artist Lian Zhen, who will conduct a watercolor workshop in Louisville, September 22-26 at Mellwood Art Center. Lian teaches workshops around the world as well as at University of California in Berkley. He has authored two books and has been published in American Artist, Slash 4, Collectors and many more. Prior to his painting and its teaching, he was a physician in China before coming to the USA in 1985 and received his masters in Architecture in 1996.
Founded in 1977, the Kentucky Watercolor Society (KWS) promotes watercolor as an important medium in the arts community and provides support and educational opportunities for watercolor artists. It is a non-profit, nationally recognized, volunteer operated organization with approximately 400 members across the United States. Flame Run's goal is to share the endless possibilities of contemporary glass art with the public. From our art glass studio and art glass gallery tours, hot glass demonstrations, contemporary glass art exhibitions, and community classes to visiting artists’ workshops, Flame Run has put Louisville on the map as a destination for contemporary glass artists, educators and collectors. Flame Run is about seeing, feeling and experiencing the passion of our glass artists. At Flame Run the focus is glass.
