Actors Theatre Play Guides

Humana Festival College Days



TEACHER ADVISORY COMMITTEE
This special committee, made up of retired and active private, public and parochial educators, meets once a month after school at Actors. The teachers represent middle and high schools and help in the design of study guides, student matinee policies and education projects.

THEATRE TOURS
Take a fascinating look behind the scenes of a professional theatre. Tours available by reservation. Please give Actors Education a minimum of two weeks notice.

Fee: $1 per person



JOB SHADOWING
Actors Theatre provides students interested in theatre careers a chance to shadow a theatre professional. Students must provide their own transportation to and from the theatre.

VOLUNTEER USHERING
High school students act as volunteer ushers, one Wednesday or Saturday a month. The program helps students obtain their 30 Service Learning Project hours required for graduation.

CAREERS IN THEATRE GUIDE
This thorough guide designed to help students get started in the theatre business, provides an understanding of the skills and education necessary for a career in theatre. It also contains a directory of regional colleges and universities with theatre degrees and summer camp/program information.
